High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound- HIFU

This advanced one-day training course is designed for Level 3 and above beauty therapists or Medical Practitioners.
Throughout the course, we will be looking at the theory behind HIFU, the treatment benefits, indications, contraindications for the treatment, aftercare, and will be allowed to practice using up-to-date techniques and equipment on live models.
On the completion of the course, the trainees will have all the knowledge on how to safely and effectively perform this non-surgical and highly sought-after treatment.
The course will cover:
- In-depth anatomy and physiology
- Principles & practice of HIFU
- Advanced client consultation
- Health, safety & hygiene in HIFU
- Equipment Required for HIFU Face/ Neck
- Indications & contra-indications to HIFU treatment
- A practical part on how to perform HIFU safely and effectively on live models
Exams: No case studies are required – no written exams.
Certificates: They are given on the day of the completion of a successful practical assessment with your tutor.
Equipment: HIFU machine is available to be ordered from us.
